Vance Joseph

This is not a player to watch, but a head coach to watch. Vance Joseph is a tremendous head coach. However, he cannot let his team get carried away with dumb penalties and overthink a play call. Whether some of the penalties last week were no calls is a different story, but Joseph must instill the discipline he created from day one.

In the Bills game, Vance Joseph and the coaches made the decision to go for it on fourth down when they did not cross the 50 yet. The play backfired and momentum quickly swung to Buffalo. Plays and momentum like this that cannot happen against the Oakland Raiders. Penalties are another factor to losing games. Joseph must make it a point of emphasis to control the players and not give in if Raiders’ players retaliate.

The future still remains bright for the Denver Broncos and especially Vance Joseph. It was just one week. Time to slay the Raiders on Sunday.
