Denver Cornerbacks vs. Cooper and Crabtree

More from Predominantly Orange

Another intriguing matchup in this contest pits strength against strength. The Broncos have been dominant at the cornerback positions, and the Raiders have a stout receiver duo.

The Broncos still boast the most smothering set of cornerbacks in the league, and this will be a great test against Cooper and Crabtree. Aside from Crabtree’s three touchdown performance against the Jets, both receivers have been relatively quiet to start the season.

Regardless of production so far, divisional matchups seem to bring out the best competition between these units. As long as the Broncos stay the course, I do not foresee Cooper or Crabtree breaking out against a team that has historically shut them down. This promises to be a great matchup between two groups of very competitive players.
