Frank Ragnow is one of the most highly regarded offensive linemen in all of college football.

The All-American, All-SEC performer graded out as one of the best run blockers in the country last season, while allowing just 12 pressures in nearly 500 pass blocking snaps.

This kid is for real.

When all is said and done, it wouldn’t surprise me if Ragnow was a first rounder. I would like to see the Broncos use two premium selections to solidify the right tackle and left guard positions, and while Ragnow has played center in college, I think he could translate to left guard in the pros.

Or, if the Broncos decide to spend money elsewhere instead of on current starting center Matt Paradis, a guy like Ragnow could be an ideal replacement. He looks pro-ready and has the type of nastiness this team has coveted in some of their recent offensive line additions.

This would be a very interesting selection given the fact that John Elway used to be so strict about using his top picks on the defensive side of the ball, but with such an unbalanced history of first rounders on defense compared to offense, it’s no wonder the Broncos’ offense has struggled to keep up with the defense in terms of success.
