3. People don’t like to be wrong

Just admit it. You don’t like to be wrong.

I don’t like to be wrong.

I certainly don’t like admitting to anyone I was wrong about something.

People just need to swallow their pride and admit they were wrong about Siemian. Heck, I even had my doubts he would be able to win a job against the physically superior Paxton Lynch one-on-one.

So many people had written off Siemian as just another camp arm. Then he was just a fill-in while the Broncos developed Lynch. Then even when he one the job against Lynch, it was just because of this or that.

Just admit you were wrong about Siemian.

The guy has made incredible progressions through his three seasons in the NFL, and no matter what happens beyond these first 16 starts, most everybody was wrong in their assumptions about what he could or couldn’t become.

Whatever preconceived notions there were about this player before he got a shot to prove himself need to be thrown out the window.
