Von Miller

Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller is the best pure pass rusher in the NFL and a Defensive Player of the Year candidate every season. Monday night is the first game in a long year for opposing quarterbacks if all goes according to plan.

Head coach Vance Joseph made it known the coaches will create mismatches for Miller every week.

Let us not forget who the new tackle is in Los Angeles: Russell Okung. Okung blocked like Swiss cheese for Denver last season. He is a talented tackle but the Broncos’ offensive line did not perform up to standards the entire season.

Miller will eat Okung and Joe Barksdale alive all game long and I’m predicting he’ll have a two sack performance. Rivers is a potential Hall of Fame choice, but his delivery can make it easy for Miller to strip sack the quarterback.

Moving the All-Pro around on either side creates chances and gives Miller an opportunity to earn sacks in every game. Miller proved two years ago he is a better pass coverage linebacker than some give him credit for.
