There are numerous players on the Denver Broncos expected to rebound, but there are three in particular ready to breakout on Monday night…

The NFL season is off to a great start, and the Denver Broncos have three players ready to shake off the 2016 downer. The Los Angeles Chargers have a new stadium, new coach and the same quarterback, Philip Rivers. Broncos head coach Vance Joseph made it known the coaches will create opportunities for Von Miller to get to Rivers on Monday.
Former head coach of the Chargers Mike McCoy is now the offensive coordinator for the Broncos. No wide receiver benefits more in McCoy’s system than Demaryius Thomas. Thomas put up 1,100+ yards, a good year for some, but he saw lack of production in touchdowns and consistency.
Trevor Siemian won the quarterback battle with Paxton Lynch. Siemian played injured against the Chargers on a Thursday night game in 2016, and was only able to put up one touchdown in two games played against them last season. Decision making on third down, limiting turnovers and red zone offense are all paramount to Siemian’s success this season.
Monday night will be a good indication of how far Siemian has come.
