Denver Broncos superstar Von Miller has been speaking very highly of Trevor Siemian lately. Here’s his most recent statement…

The Denver Broncos have been adamant about one thing in recent days, and it’s that despite the many questions surrounding the quarterback position, this team is Trevor Siemian’s team.

Von Miller, a team captain and most valuable player on the team, has had some pretty glowing remarks about Siemian in recent days.

He even put Siemian’s name in the same sentence as a familiar legend…

Miller also talked about how much Siemian has improved from this year compared to last year:

There is a good portion of the Broncos’ fan base that is truly split on Siemian. Some like him, some love him. Some hate him, and some want him off the team as soon as possible.

There aren’t many sitting in between who don’t really care who the quarterback is, they just want to see the team win.

Whether you’re a Siemian ‘Stan’ or a Paxton Lynch ‘Stan’ (overzealous superfan), it really doesn’t matter at this point. The Broncos had to make the decision they made to keep Siemian the starting quarterback after he held that position last season.

Miller also said that Siemian is five times better than he was last season. That will obviously be determined on the field in regular season games, but it’s good to hear Miller say that. This Broncos team is clearly behind Siemian as their quarterback, which could be simply because there are no better options and they can’t do anything about it, but it’s still good  to hear.

There have been some rumors floating around that defensive players have been pleading for other quarterbacks to come in, but I think actions speak louder than words and the team is truly behind Siemian at this point.

He’ll get a chance to prove Miller and the rest of his teammates who think this way right when the Broncos take on the Chargers on Monday Night Football.
