33 De’Angelo Henderson, RB

The steal of the Denver Broncos rookie class so far is De’Angelo “Hop” Henderson, who was one of the most explosive players offensively throughout the preseason.

Henderson has a very intriguing blend of speed and quickness to go along with his fantastic vision, but he was overlooked in the draft process for being a little smaller (5-foot-7) and a little older for a rookie, but his size doesn’t bother me and there was no sign of wear and tear on his body from what we saw.

Henderson knows how to make defenders miss in the open field, and does a great job of getting to his second and third gear to blow past linebackers and defensive backs with deep speed.

It’s atypical of someone with his height to carry 208 pounds and still run as fast as Henderson does. He was phenomenal at camp and in the preseason, and could see a significant role as a reserve running back throughout the season.
