80 Jake Butt, TE

The long awaited debut of Jake Butt will have to continue to wait.

No one really stood out this offseason for the Broncos at the tight end position, so whenever Butt is able to get into the lineup, it’s going to be a much needed infusion of talent.

To start the season, Butt was placed on the NFI (non-football injury) list due to the torn ACL he suffered in college. He was placed on the NFI before training camp, which meant that he couldn’t practice or the Broncos would risk losing their ability to see him at some point this season.

They are obviously going to continue to take things slowly with Butt, who was a big time playmaker at Michigan. The Broncos got one of the best values in the draft here, and everyone is on pins and needles waiting to see him play at the professional level.
