The Los Angeles Chargers are traveling to Sports Authority Field at Mile High to face the Denver Broncos in week one of the NFL season. There have been many changes to personnel, from the coaching staff to the active roster. Entering week one the Broncos have a relatively fresh, young team with a chip on their shoulder; missing the 2016 playoffs, as well as having solidified their situation with Trevor Siemian at starting quarterback.

The Chargers are coming off a down year finishing last place in the AFC West with a 5-11 record. However, there’s upside in Los Angeles. They’ve seen significant improvement in production out of Melvin Ingram as well as Defensive Rookie of the Year, Joey Bosa. The Chargers are looking to get even better this season. Both teams are looking to climb up the AFC West ladder from last season. That being said, week one will be critical to accomplishing that goal.

Here are the week one matchups to look out for.
