T.J. Ward pens a thank you letter to Broncos Country after the Broncos decided to release the No Fly Zone member as part of the roster cuts.

It is always difficult to see some players get released from your favorite team during this time of year. T.J. Ward’s departure will certainly tug at a few heart strings in Broncos Country.

While some of the players and fans were not happy with the move, the NFL is a rough business. Due to Justin Simmons and Will Parks performing well, it appeared to be the writing on the wall. Not to mention that T.J. Ward spent a lot of time injured during the preseason.

An emotional day for Broncos Country as they will be without their strong safety that was part of the No Fly Zone. T.J. Ward did take the time out to pen a thank you letter to the Broncos organization and fans.

I have no doubt that T.J. Ward will end up on another team. He brings that veteran presence and can be a game changer on any defense. It feels out of sorts to be without him for the 2017 season. The hope was that he could restructure and play the final year of his contract before moving on in free agency.

Vance Joseph made it known that he will talk to the team about T.J. Ward’s release. Some Denver Broncos players were upset with the news that he was released. There is no doubt that he left a lasting impact on the Denver Broncos both on and off the field. As a teammate, football player, and a friend to many in the organization.
