The Denver Broncos completed their preseason by dominating the Arizona Cardinals by a score of 30-2 to end their 2017 preseason at 4-0.
Kyle Sloter was given a rare chance to start a Denver Broncos preseason game and go the entire 60 minutes. Trevor Siemian was given the night off and Jordan Taylor was the emergency quarterback.
Sloter made the most of his chances by overcoming a slow start to lead the Denver Broncos by the Arizona Cardinals by the score of 30-2. The undrafted quarterback went 15 out of 23 for 220 yards and one touchdown. It was quite an impressive performance by a quarterback who started training camp as the third quarterback on the roster.
Some of the more impressive players on the roster during the final preseason game included Brendan Langley and Juwan Thompson. Seeing both players perform well could make the decisions made by the coaching staff very difficult.
Speaking of the Denver Broncos future in 2017, Vance Joseph is going to make some tough choices. This is perhaps the most balanced team that I have seen in a long time.

What will make the decision even more challenging will be the T.J. Ward situation. But I think that will be a discussion for another day. I am interested to see what the Denver Broncos do regarding Ward.
With the injuries to Paxton Lynch, Carlos Henderson, and Devontae Booker, this will be challenging. Some decisions will be easy. Some will not. The most important part of the final preseason game is that there were no significant injuries.

Now, Broncos Country will wait until September 2nd to make their decision Some players will find their way back via practice squad. Either that or they find a spot on another roster.
We look forward to seeing what happens in the next couple of days.
