CORNERBACK: 5 (45) — Aqib Talib, Chris Harris Jr., Bradley Roby, Brendan Langley, Chris Lewis-Harris

Practice Squad: Lorenzo Doss

CUT: Marcus Rios

Cutting Lorenzo Doss and subjecting him to waivers could prove to be the Broncos’ biggest risk this week, at least in terms of risking losing a player with enough talent to warrant a roster spot on this team.

Doss has proven he’s got some big time ball skills, but so far, has been unable to be very consistent in games. He doesn’t have a ton of regular season experience in his two seasons with Denver, so perhaps re-signing to the practice squad isn’t something he’d be interested in.

That being the case, the Broncos could look to get some value out of him in a trade, but Vance Joseph has lauded the veteran presence of Chris Lewis-Harris, who has played very well in coverage so far this preseason.

Doss may be a better fit in a different defensive scheme.
