INSIDE LINEBACKERS: 3 (40) — Brandon Marshall, Todd Davis, Corey Nelson

Practice Squad: Quentin Gause

CUT: Zaire Anderson, Kevin Snyder, Jerrol Garcia-Williams

This will be a tough position for the Broncos to make some decisions at. On the one hand, it’s a position that is very susceptible to injury, as if every position in the NFL weren’t dangerous enough. Keeping three guys is a risky move, even on gamedays.

It would be hard to cut Zaire Anderson, who was a big time playmaker in last year’s preseason. It seems like it’s taking him a bit longer to recover from a scary injury in the regular season finale, at least in terms of the confidence he was once flying around with.

The Broncos could keep a fourth traditional inside linebacker if they want, but they spend so much time in sub-packages, it almost doesn’t make sense when you study the numbers.
