TYRIQUE JARRETT, NT

There have been plenty of injuries on the Broncos’ defensive front seven this offseason, but perhaps none looms larger for Tyrique Jarrett than the injury to backup nose tackle Billy Winn, who is out for the season with significant knee damage.

Jarrett is a mountain of a man, and is capable of penetrating the line of scrimmage with excellent quickness off the ball for a man of his stature.

One area where the Broncos struggled badly last season was against the run, and Jarrett could significantly improve that. The Broncos don’t have a settled situation behind Domata Peko at the nose tackle position.

Kyle Peko could be looking at a PUP stint to start the year, and the opportunity is definitely there for Jarrett to make this team.
