Things are still unsettled for the Broncos at the kick return position, though special teams coordinator Brock Olivo admitted it was Cody Latimer’s job to lose at this point in time.

That doesn’t come as much of a surprise, but there’s one player in particular who could prove his value not only offensively, but also as a returner on special teams.

Kalif Raymond was one of the Broncos’ kick/punt returners last season, and Denver had to promote him from their practice squad after he received interest from other teams looking to poach him.

The Broncos’ scouting staff likes Raymond a lot, and with Gary Kubiak keeping his watchful eye over preseason game number three, it wouldn’t come as a shock to anyone if the Broncos found a way to get this guy on the roster. He’s got a lot of big play ability.
