Denver Broncos and San Francisco 49ers trade possibilities

Why the Broncos do it…

The Denver Broncos aren’t exactly solidified at the tight end position, though admittedly this move would have to be made with the thought that another player (Virgil Green, who we’ll mention later) would also probably be moved or let go.

Blake Bell was a fourth round pick of the previous San Francisco regime and has been pushed way down the depth chart. He would be a depth addition at the position for the Broncos where they are expected to get Jake Butt back from injury at some point after week six.

If the team wants to take four tight ends into the regular season, this could be a move they’d consider…

Why the 49ers do it…

The 49ers don’t have great depth at receiver, and Brown is a player that could probably see a decent amount of playing time with them. Brown also played a pretty good game in his limited action against the 49ers in week two of the preseason, and he’s made some big catches in Broncos camp so far this Summer…
