Joe Thomas, Left Tackle, Cleveland Browns

Age: 32

Contract: 7 yrs, $80.5 million ($8.8 million this year)

The Broncos continue to look for the successor to Ryan Clady at left tackle. There is a strong opinion that Bolles is the answer to that riddle, although I don’t think he is the only answer.

Thomas has recently been part of trade rumors between the Browns and Broncos and he was almost in the Orange and Blue last year before the talks fell through. There are rumors that  Cleveland is seeking a second round pick for Thomas, which wouldn’t be too steep for Denver.

Pro Football Focus has Thomas as the 11th best offensive lineman and he has started and played in every game since we was drafted in 2007 out of Wisconsin. What’s even more incredible is that he has been selected to the Pro Bowl every season as well as being a six-time First-Team All-Pro.

That kind of play is what could help develop Bolles into one of the premier tackles in the league.

That is if Denver is willing to deal for him.

Trade Possibility: Highly Likely
