3. New Playmakers

The Broncos have a few very exciting new additions to the offensive side of the ball.

Most notably are third round pick Carlos Henderson, fifth round pick Isaiah McKenzie, free agent pickup Jamaal Charles, and sixth round pick De’Angelo Henderson.

Starting with Carlos Henderson, who is one of the best players in this year’s rookie class at making plays after the catch. Henderson showed off big play ability as a receiver, runner, and returner at Louisiana Tech and had more total yards than any other collegiate player last season.

Henderson’s big play ability will be great to watch at camp, as will the electrifying speed and quickness of Isaiah McKenzie.

McKenzie was turning heads at OTAs already, and he’ll draw plenty of attention at camp both as a receiver and return specialist.

Jamaal Charles will get his most extensive on-field action and look to claim the Broncos’ top running back spot from C.J. Anderson and Devontae Booker at camp. If Charles is fully healthy as he claims to be, he could be one of the great pickups of any team this offseason.

I really like the potential of De’Angelo Henderson with his intriguing blend of bulk, speed, quickness, and pass catching ability.

This offseason provided a much needed infusion of playmaking ability.
