Former Denver Broncos safety Steve Atwater has been hired by the team as a fan ambassador as well as a a video host and analysis for the team’s website.

Steve Atwater was one of the first players that I remember watching as I grew up to love the Denver Broncos. His hard hitting tackles and pass breakups were always fun to watch.

Now he will return to the team to fill in a great role for the Denver Broncos.

The Denver Broncos have decided to hire Steve Atwater to become the team’s fan ambassador as well as video host and analysis. I feel as if this will be a great hire. Not just for the Denver Broncos, but for Steve Atwater as well.

Back in the 1989 NFL Draft, the Broncos selected Steve Atwater. He was known as a tackling machine. Perhaps his most famous moment was during Super Bowl 32. On a third down play, Atwater broke up a pass intended for a Packers wide out. In the process, he nearly knocked himself and two other players out.

During his tender with the Denver Broncos, he was perhaps one of the best players to ever suit up in the orange and blue. I would even say he was the best safety for the Broncos.

Atwater won two Super Bowls with the Denver Broncos before calling it quits after the 1999 season as a New York Jet. He would later sign a one day contract to retire as a Denver Bronco.

I am very excited to see what Steve Atwater can do in his new roles with the Denver Broncos. It truly shows how the team has excelled in bringing in players from the past to shape the future.

We have seen players from the past excel in their involvement. Steve Atwater will be no different.
