Von Miller’s Robin and Denver Broncos pass rusher Shane Ray is primed for a monster season and is searching for his first ten sack year.

Denver Broncos outside linebacker Shane Ray is up to the task of putting together his first double-digit sack season in 2017. Last year, he was two sacks short of 10 on the campaign. Now Ray is ready to be the starter.

"“My mindset is, was, whether I am the starter or not the starter, I am going to try and dominate. Even with now knowing I am going to be the starter, I still have that same mentality because I outwork everybody,”Ray said on the upcoming season (quotes from Denver Broncos PR)"

Ray plays with his hair on fire on every play. Outline in my five important players article, Ray believes it is difficult to stop him from getting one sack a game. Ray added that he an Von Miller are the best pass rush duo in the league.

"“We are the best passing duo in the league. It’s no question. We just have to show it this year,”Ray said regarding both he and Miller.“I don’t think it is difficult to average a sack per game, especially with Von Miller next to you,” Ray said on achieving a sack a game. “I am going to have so many one-on-ones, it’s not something that is not fathomable for me. If I can average a sack a day at practice or two sacks per day at practice, what is the difference from a game. Why can’t I go out and do the same thing?”"

Remember his three sack performance last year against the Cincinnati Bengals?

The 2016 season is an appetizer to what Ray will show this year. He is a strong human being not afraid to push the piles to reach a quarterback. Furthermore, there is no off button with Ray and is embracing life without DeMarcus Ware. Ray is ready to take a step this with a Pro Bowl caliber year.

Ray will rack up 13 sacks and double the hurries from 15 to 30 next season. Another prediction for Ray is his tackles for loss. He will also double the tackle for loss from 6 to 12 resulting in his first Pro Bowl season.
