Ronald Leary

The best way to upgrade the weakest group on the team is sign a player from the best offensive line in football. John Elway signed Ronald Leary to a four-year deal worth $36 million with $20 million guaranteed. Elway was pleased Leary is a Broncos on May 9.

“Ronald is a big, physical and athletic guard who plays with an attitude. Upgrading the offensive line was a priority for us and we’re excited to add Ronald to our team,” Elway stated to the team website early in May.

Leary might lead the charge in physicality in the Denver Broncos offensive line group. Coming from the Dallas Cowboys, Leary displayed extraordinary level of quickness and strength. Leary is great at helping create running lanes for his running backs, which will help CJ Anderson, Jamaal Charles and Devontae Booker.

The expectation is for Leary to play alongside Max Garcia opening Training Camp. Also, Leary seems to be embracing the talent level of the Broncos defense and enhancing his game.

“It’s definitely helped me. Especially switching sides, that’s something that’s very new to me. So I get to go against Derek Wolfe every day, the past few days at right guard. He’s definitely one of the better defensive tackles in the game so going against him is helping my game a lot.”

Therefore, expect a much improved look on the offensive line in 2017.
