Garett Bolles

The Denver Broncos addressed the blind side of Paxton Lynch or Trevor Siemian drafting Garett Bolles from the University of Utah. Bolles is a gifted tackle who went on a mission in Denver is grateful to been selected by the Broncos.

“I love Colorado and I love Denver. It’s very near to my heart because that’s where I served my mission and I’m just excited to get to work with such a great organization,” Bolles said when he signed his contract.

Fast forward a few months later after the draft Bolles is steadily seeing progress at first team tackle. Bolles is one of the more important players on the roster due to lack of any production. Donald Stephenson (currently on the roster) saw time at left tackle and did not perform well. Meanwhile Ty Sambrailo weight issues and slow start doom him all the time.

This explains the move to pick Bolles in the NFL Draft. Bolles is athletic as they come at tackle. If there is an area to catch the pass rushers in the division it is athleticism. He is not afraid to mix it up with the opposing defensive linemen. This attitude bodes well for a position desperate for an attitude adjustment.

Bolles is not the only linemen important this season for the Broncos.
