Denver Broncos: Top trade pieces heading into training camp
2. Jordan Taylor, Wide Receiver
Jordan Taylor is a 6-foot-5 wide receiver with great hands, speed, and quickness. It’s still a wonder to me he wasn’t drafted, but I guess even NFL teams don’t get it right every time.
After spending 2015 as Peyton Manning’s personal receiver during his injury recovery, Taylor got onto the field as a sophomore in the NFL and made an instant impact.
His opportunities were few, but he made some big plays and acrobatic catches from training camp all the way through the regular season.
There will be teams that call about Taylor, but of the young receivers potentially available in a trade on the roster, I think he would cost the most. He would be the team’s no. 4 receiver heading into the season, possibly as high as the no. 3 depending on what happens with Carlos Henderson and Isaiah McKenzie.
If some other team views Taylor as their no. 2 or no. 3 receiver, the Broncos could get a nice return in a trade here.
