Tight End (3)

Virgil Green, A.J. Derby, Jeff Heuerman

While Jake Butt is recovering from an ACL injury, I believe that the Denver Broncos want to play it smart and have him start the season on the PUP list. There is no doubt that he will see the field around the halfway point of the season.

With Jake Butt missing, the other three tight ends made the most sense. A.J. Derby was a surprise when he came over to the Denver Broncos via trade with the Patriots. He helped the team in short yardage situation.

Virgil Green continues to be a solid force in the receiving game. However, his blocking needs to be worked on. And Jeff Heuerman had a tough time finding the field last season.

The goal is to have these three guys help out until Jake Butt can make a full recovery.
