The Denver Broncos “No Fly Zone” is capable of boasting another special cornerback to their loaded class of Aqib Talib and Chris Harris Jr.

Bradley Roby enters his fourth season in the NFL and is already making impressions on the Denver Broncos head coach. Vance Joseph spoke yesterday regarding Roby.

“Roby is a young corner that could be really, really special. He’s playing behind two Pro Bowl guys. From time to time, he has to push himself to continue to become what they are,” Joseph said.

Joseph coached the defensive backs on the Cincinnati Bengals from 2014-2015. He understands the mentality it takes to still “focus on the future.” The head coach recognizes Roby would be a starter on most teams.

“That’s tough because on most teams, he would be a starter. To keep him going mentally and to keep him focused on his future, it’s important. Bradley Roby’s spring was great. His last couple days have been really, really special,” Joseph referring to Roby’s last few days.

Roby encountered a rough patch briefly his rookie year and into preseason that same season, but he changed his attitude to focus on one play at a time. With playmaking and ball hawking presence in the secondary, Roby has makings to be an elite corner for years to come.

No better play exemplifies the play of Roby more than the fumble forced against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Divisional Round playoff game in 2015 as seen here. Roby held on the play, found room to channel a Charles Tillman play and punch the ball out of Fitzpatrick Toussaint.

If Joseph is seeing this improvement from Roby just in OTAs, then there is no telling the growth Roby makes once Training Camp hits in July. It is this improvement that has Roby proving he is the special player the Broncos brasss envisioned.
