Josh Banderas

Josh Banderas has the potential to be in the mix to get reps at outside linebacker during training camp, however the question remains whether or not the rookie can deal with the quick learning curve.

Playing linebacker in the NFL is a huge responsibility and primarily being an edge/contain rush backer the pressure and difficulty increases. Banderas played his college football at Nebraska and if we know anything about Nebraska, he is tough and corn fed.

Banderas is a long shot replacement for Shaq Barrett, but his frame and athletic ability reminds me of Joey Bosa in certain ways. The learning curve for Banderas would be quick and the transition would be challenging in more ways than one.

Will Joe Woods give him a chance?
