The Broncos suffered a blow to their depth filled defense when Shaq Barrett suffered a hip injury. We will take a look at five guys who can step up for him.

This past week Vance Joseph announced that Shaq Barrett would miss time due to a hip injury. Barrett initially injured his hip in OTA’s on Monday.

With Barrett slated to be out of the lineup for two to three months, he won’t require surgery. However, Barrett and the Broncos will require somebody to step up during Training Camp.

Barrett is expected to be ready by Week 1, however hip injuries usually linger. In his absence, we will analyze some in house candidates that have to step up for him.
