Denver Broncos safety Will Parks has come under fire a bit lately for his leaking of practice footage (a big no-no) and now for something far worse. Parks is facing misdemeanor harassment and non-violent DV charges, per multiple reports…

These past couple of infractions are incredibly out of character for Parks, who was a key contributor on the Broncos last year, both as a defensive back and special teams player.

Parks contributed on nearly a quarter of the Broncos’ defensive plays and almost three out of every four special teams plays, including returning an extra point against the New Orleans Saints for a score in one of the craziest special teams plays of the season.

With that kind of impact made as a sixth round draft pick and a rookie, Parks was in line to make an even bigger impact in his second year with the team. Where do the Broncos go from here?

Of course, the process has to play itself out legally, but Parks could find himself in the NFL’s domestic violence program, which is a minimum six-game suspension for a first-time offender. If Parks misses time, here are the current candidates to pick up slack both defensively and on special teams…
