The Denver Broncos pose the toughest schedule in the NFL, but the expectation is better development from their starting quarterbacks.  This means Paxton Lynch and Trevor Siemian will both be better in 2017.  However, there is no shortage of tough opponents for the team this upcoming season.

Last year, the Kansas City Chiefs dealt with plenty of luck on their side and better offensive football in years past to contend.  While Oakland was struck with the injury bug to Derek Carr when it mattered most, both teams took a huge step forward in 2016.  Yet, there seems to be no team that upgraded their team more in the offseason than the Denver Broncos.

This improvement translates to more wins.  The offensive line is much enhanced with the additions of Ronald Leary, Menelik Watson, and first round pick Garett Bolles.   Meanwhile, the defensive line added leadership with Domata Peko.

Nonetheless, it will be difficult to win against New England.  But the one team to challenge a Patriots team on a weekly basis is Denver.  The Denver Broncos defense is best suited to play against the Patriots due to matchups.  Will it translate to a win?  Time will find out, but it would be the win of the season with a young quarterback under center.
