The only member of the 2017 Denver Broncos draft class remains to be unsigned. However, Carlos Henderson will not let that keep him from practicing.

Carlos Henderson was drafted in the third round of this year’s NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos. He could be quite the weapon for the starting quarterback during the 2017 season. His route running and YAC are going to be beneficial for the team.

There is just one issue. He remains to be unsigned. In the meantime, all of the other draft picks by the Denver Broncos have signed their rookie contracts.

Despite not having a contract, Carlos Henderson continues to practice with the team. His dedication to the Denver Broncos is quite phenomenal. The fact that he does not have a contract and is still willing to risk his health and practice is amazing.

It makes you wonder why Carlos Henderson is not signed yet. Mike Klis of 9News has stated that it is difficult to negotiate with third rounders in the NFL. He explains it more in the link, but there are a variety of negotiations that takes place with certain third round picks.

Let us also not forget that Carols Henderson attended his graduation on May 20th. Which means he would not be able to talk to the Broncos until that was over.

Broncos fans (and I am certain John Elway and the front office too) were hoping to have all the rookie deals done before the OTA’s. Sadly enough, that is not the case.

But the fact that Carlos Henderson is still practicing with the team shows how determined he is with the Denver Broncos.

There is no doubt that a deal will get done soon. It is just going to be relied upon a lot of factors. But both sides want a deal done. Hopefully it is done sooner rather than later.
