Denver Broncos announce 2017 undrafted free agent class
The Denver Broncos selected eight players in the 2017 NFL Draft, and made some more dreams come true for these undrafted free agent pickups…
Not every player gets to hear their name called during the NFL Draft, but the Denver Broncos have a rich history of making undrafted free agents successful early on in their careers. In fact, the Denver Broncos currently have 30 college free agents on their roster, though not all were originally signed by the Broncos coming out of their draft experience.

In 12 of the last 13 seasons, an undrafted player has made the Denver Broncos’ opening-day roster. There are a wide range of key contributors for the Broncos who weren’t selected in the NFL Draft, including arguably the best (in our eyes, he’s the best) cornerback in the NFL, Chris Harris Jr.
Other undrafted players include the top three players on the Broncos’ roster (currently) alphabetically in C.J. Anderson, Zaire Anderson, and Shaquil Barrett.

The Broncos began their rookie minicamp on Thursday, where each one of these players experienced orientation on and off the field. That rookie minicamp runs through Sunday.
