When Chris Harris Jr. went undrafted, the Denver Broncos decided to add him on. Since 2012, he has been on a tear and plays the cornerback position well.

I am not sure how the Denver Broncos organization does it when it comes to undrafted players. But for some reason, as Chris Harris Jr. has shown, they find those diamonds in the rough.

Chris Harris Jr. went undrafted during the 2011 NFL Draft. He was signed on by the Denver Broncos. A team took a chance on him. And now he is showing why, arguably, why he is the best cornerback in the game.

Pro Football Focus took a look at all cornerbacks over the past five seasons. What they found was that Harris Jr. has allowed the fewest yards per coverage snap. He clocked in at an amazing 0.79 yards per coverage snap.

That is better than Richard Sherman (0.84), Darrelle Revis (0.97), and Josh Norman (0.97). And yet, Chris Harris Jr. is still not talked about much in the NFL.

He has been one of the best players at his position for quite some time. It probably just that the NFL is just now recognizing it. Do not forget that he went over two seasons without allowing a single touchdown pass thrown his way.

There is no doubt that Chris Harris Jr. has been quite the story when it comes to undrafted players. He has thrived under the underdog role and has taken the entire NFL world by storm. Even thought it is not a huge storm, he is making some noise.

Playing on the No Fly Zone defense has really helped his case. The Denver Broncos have quite a secondary in Mile High. With Aqib Talib on the opposite side and Bradley Roby at the nickel back position, they have done well against opposing quarterbacks and receivers.

It is awesome to see Chris Harris Jr. doing well in the league. Here is to hoping that this could lead to a phenomenal career.
