Denver Broncos undrafted free agent tracker and rumors
Now that the 2017 NFL Draft has concluded, we take a look at some of the top players that will sign with the Denver Broncos as undrafted players…
The 2017 NFL Draft has finally come to a conclusion, and the Denver Broncos’ class is a really fun one. It started off on Thursday evening with John Elway and company having their top offensive lineman and truly their top target in Garett Bolles fall into their laps with the 20th overall pick.
It continued on Friday as the Broncos went to the other side of the line and took Florida State’s DeMarcus Walker, a defensive end/tackle hybrid type of player who can flat out get pressure on the quarterback.
After the Broncos took Walker in the second round, they used third round picks on big time speed and playmaking ability. With the 82nd overall pick, they selected Louisiana Tech playmaker Carlos Henderson, who had 23 total touchdowns this past season. They followed up the Henderson pick by taking former Georgia recruit Brendan Langley, who finished out his college career at Lamar University. Langley brings speed and physicality to the defensive backfield.

On day three, the Broncos maneuvered around the board, making up for all the staying put they did in the first two days of the draft. They moved out of the fourth round entirely and took Michigan’s star tight end Jake Butt with the top pick in the fifth round. Butt fell to the fifth round due to a torn ACL in his final collegiate game.
In the later portion of the fifth round, the Broncos moved up a couple of spots to take Georgia’s speedy receiver/return specialist Isaiah McKenzie, who figures to factor in immediately on offense and special teams.
In the sixth round, Denver took a sleeper at running back in Coastal Carolina’s De’Angelo Henderson, who set school records in rushing yards and touchdowns, and had a touchdown in 35 straight games.
They then closed out the draft by selecting Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly.
Now, the attention turns to the undrafted free agent class, where the Broncos have always had a lot of success. We have all the latest rumors and signings for you here:
