Much has been made of impact a third wide receiver needs to do in a Denver Broncos offense and they drafted an explosive Carlos Henderson.

Look up explosive in the dictionary: You will find Carlos Henderson’s name there.

The Denver Broncos drafted Carlos Henderson with the 82nd pick in the third round. One word comes to mind when Henderson’s name pops up: explosive. Henderson was one of the top NCAA kickoff returners and gives the Broncos a much needed boost in special teams.

The Louisiana Tech product offers more than specialist to his game. Henderson is incredible at breaking tackles and ranked right at the top of wide receivers of broken tackles per touch. To put this in perspective, Henderson’s 38 percent topped the league. Next closest competitor is Corey Davis (22 percent) who went to Tennessee fifth overall.

Henderson’s explosive nature on special teams will make him see the field early in 2017. Frankly, the Broncos potentially drafted the replacement as the number three wide receiver. There is plenty of talk the third wide receiver needs to be a playmaker. The Broncos may have just answered the bell in drafting Carlos Henderson.

If Denver Broncos fans drool in watching these Carlos Henderson highlights, I understand. I would too. Without further ado, here is the jaw-dropping clips of the Broncos new wide receiver.

We can not wait to see what Carlos Henderson can offer to the Denver Broncos. He will be an electric player and bring the juice for sure. Great pick John Elway.
