Denver Broncos Day Two Mock Draft: Rounds Two And Three
By Steven Kriz
The Denver Broncos got their left tackle in Garett Bolles. See who they may target in our Day Two Mock Draft, detailing rounds two and three…
Round one of the NFL Draft is officially in the books. The Denver Broncos got the guy they have coveted since the combine in Garett Bolles who will be a day-one starter at left tackle. Sources have said that the Broncos had Bolles ranked as a top-10 player in this draft, ahead of players such as Reuben Foster and O.J. Howard.
The Broncos were prepared to move up for Bolles if necessary, but an early run on quarterbacks and wide receivers helped the Broncos get their guy without having to surrender any draft capital. That leaves plenty of wiggle room to go get a player they like in the next few rounds if need be.
With the left tackle position officially solved, the Broncos can spend the next two days adding play makers on both sides of the ball. Running back, linebacker, tight end, and slot receiver will certainly be positions to watch. The Broncos likely will also look into adding depth to the defensive line and cornerback position as well.
