With the Denver Broncos drafting Garett Bolles in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft, I take to Twitter and see how Broncos fans and media react.
Alright, Broncos Country. The Denver Broncos have drafted their need at left tackle. The Broncos went with Garett Bolles in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
There is no doubt that this pick had some mixed reactions. Some good. Some bad. He does help out the Denver Broncos in their biggest need.
For me, it was a need. But was really hoping for best player available. I know I will warm up to it.
There is no doubt that he will really help the Denver Broncos on that offensive line. His quick feet and his ability to run and pass block are going to be really helpful.
Not to mention that John Elway does not want to see his starting quarterback continue getting hit the way that they were during the 2016 season.
Having that added protection for the offensive line, in addition to the free agency additions, should help this team get back to the playoffs.
Drafting offensive line is never the prettiest pick, but it was needed. And now the offensive line will be better.
