As we draw nearer to the start of the 2017 NFL Draft, it’s time to put the final touches on my Denver Broncos mock draft. The Broncos currently have 10 selections in this year’s draft, but I anticipate them winding up with eight. I won’t project any official trades, but I’ll predict the eight players I think Denver winds up taking.

These picks are based on information we’ve gathered over the course of the last couple of months, as well as team needs and players that have visited Denver that are drawing interest from the team.

When the Denver Broncos select in the first round is a mystery to us all at this point, but as of the time of this writing, they are slotted to pick 20th. Whether they move up or down or stand pat, I think the Broncos’ top target is going to be Garett Bolles.

It’s not a pick that will excite everyone. In fact, many might be outraged by it. However, Bolles is a player that was dominant at times this past season. He brings a nastiness and toughness to the table that is unmatched among the offensive linemen in this year’s draft.

He would be an excellent selection in the first round and someone that I think can start day one.
