The Denver Broncos selected Garett Bolles with their first round pick. I talk about how he can impact the Denver Broncos depth chart for the 2017 season.

It appears as if the Denver Broncos have found the guy that they were looking for. They have selected Garett Bolles with the overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

What really surprised me about this pick was what players were available. Not to mention that this class of offensive linemen is not exactly the greatest.

But the important thing is that John Elway wanted to take care of his greatest need right away.

So, how much of an impact does Garett Bolles have on the Broncos depth chart.

It is as plain and simple as it gets. He will most likely become the opening day starter for the Denver Broncos at the left tackle position.

However, there is a chance that Ty Sambrailo does not go down without a fight. He will most likely be the competition at this time for Garett Bolles.

My question is how will Bolles transition to the NFL? He scored a nine on his Wonderlic test. That in turn concerns me.

But I am certain that the Denver Broncos will be happy with his ability to protect the blindside. Trevor Siemian took a number of walloping hits from defenses all season.

It was a shame that Russell Okung never worked out and Ryan Clady could not stay healthy. Perhaps Garett Bolles would be a solid option for the Broncos.

However, only time will tell. But there is no doubt that Garett Bolles will become a day one starter for the Denver Broncos in 2017 on the offensive line.

Keep it here at Predominantly Orange. We will continue to provide coverage for the Broncos during the NFL Draft.
