Stanford. Denver Broncos. 17. player. 45. GM: @skrizPO: For the 3rd season in a row, the Broncos trade up in the first round to get their guy. Born and raised in Denver, and son to Broncos great Ed McCaffrey, Christian comes to the Broncos in what is a match made in heaven. The Broncos could have stayed pat and gone with Garrett Bolles. However, once McCaffrey got past the Colts at 15, it only made sense for Elway to go up and get him. McCaffrey fills so many holes on this offense. He is a running back that can run inside the tackles and outside the tackles. He can line up in the slot, or catch the ball out of the backfield. He is also a shoe-in to return both punts and kickoffs. He is a Swiss-Army-Knife, and one that will help out Paxton Lynch (or Siemian). Offensive coordinator Mike McCoy will find exciting and creative ways to get this playmaker the ball. Denver just got a lot better on offense.. Christian McCaffrey, RB

18. player. 35. GM: @3D_Esquibel: Derek Barnett won’t have to travel too far from his college campus in Knoxville to his new team as he stays in state to play for the Titans.
The Titans would’ve loved to grab one of the top receivers after taking Marshon Lattimore earlier, but are happy to select with one of the top pass rushers.
<div class=. Derek Barnett, DE. Tennessee. Tennessee Titans

The Titans have two talented rushers already in Brian Orakpo and Derrick Morgan, but adding Barnett makes Tennessee a feared team on the EDGE. Some experts believe Barnett might be a better pure pass rusher than number one pick Myles Garret. Bottom line is the Titans got a true steal at pick 18.

The Titans totaled 40 sacks last season which was in the top ten of the league. Barnett can come in in his rookie year and push the Titans to a top five level in that category.

Sometimes the most talented player is too hard to ignore even if it’s not a position of need. This is the case for the Titans who get a top ten talent at 18.

48. GM: @CodyRoarkPO: Tampa Bay decides to stay within the home-state when selecting Dalvin Cook. Not only does Cook reunite with Jameis Winston, he has a legitimate chance at becoming a day one starter for the Bucs. The Bucs revamped their offense during Free Agency by landing playmaker Desean Jackson to their receiving core with Vincent Jackson and Mike Evans. The Bucs were heavily disappointed last season in Doug Martin who was suspended for 4 games for PED use. The Bucs still have Charles Sims who could see an increased role, but Dalvin Cook is an all around difference maker who can catch the ball out of the backfield and lower his shoulder on linebackers in open space. Cook is arguably one of the best running backs in this draft. Several have questioned his off the field antics, but some reports were refuted as heresay. The Buccaneers last season were okay defensively, okay enough where defense didn’t need to be a first round priority for them. The Buccaneers patience is wearing thin with Doug Martin who is also getting older and it makes sense to upgrade the position with someone younger, more explosive like Cook. Tampa Bay was a team last season who was underrated and riddled with injury and inconsistency. If they can get things to click with Dalvin Cook and their newly revamped offense, NFL defenses better watch out!. Dalvin Cook, RB. Florida State. Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 19. player
