35. GM: @tyflyguy15:
The Titans have a solid future with Marcus Mariota at the helm. But the good saying is that defense wins championships. The Titans are going to need to work on that defense if they are going to have a chance to hoist the Lombardi Trophy for the first time in franchise history in the next few years.

Marshon Lattimore gives the Titans defense that stellar corner back that they have been waiting on. He has that ball hawking abilities that you could want in a corner back. I see this man as someone who can win that one on one battle and become a solid force. Once the wide receiver starts running, he makes sure that he does not lose sight of him.

The only thing that can be of interest is his experience. Due to hamstring injuries, he was only a starter for one full season. But once he gets some game experience in the NFL, I believe he will fit in naturally for the Titans secondary.

The Titans are just a few pieces away from being able to contend in the tough AFC. But with this draft pick, Lattimore can help bring the team to that next level.
. Marshon Lattimore, CB. Ohio State. Tennessee Titans. 5. player

GM: @3D_Esquibel: The Jets don’t have a franchise quarterback on their roster and with the top two options already off the board, they go with a play-maker in O.J. Howard.
Howard will ease the pain of whoever is behind center in New York, by improving both the run and pass game. At Alabama Howard was under-utilized in the passing attack. His showing in the past two National Championships shows what he can do once the ball in his hands. He will also be a sixth lineman to help open holes for an aging Matt Forte.

The Jets have many holes to fill on their roster, but tight end may have been the biggest besides quarterback. Last season Austin Seferian-Jenkins and Brandon Bostick combined for an underwhelming 18 catches and 173 yards with zero touchdowns.

The Jets will need to continue to search for their franchise quarterback at a different time. However, once they find him he’ll have a best friend in Howard.
. O.J. Howard, TE. Alabama. New York Jets. 6. player. 30

Mike Williams, WR. Clemson. Los Angeles Chargers. 7. player. 13. GM: @CodyRoarkPO: The Chargers got lucky that Mike Williams was available at the time of their pick. The Chargers are going through a period of change and while Phillip Rivers remains a constant, the Chargers desperately need help at the WR position. Rivers favorite target Keenan Allen is coming off an ACL repair and the system may change with Mike McCoy heading to Division Rival, Denver. Mike Williams size and strength are key attributes that will make him a candidate in the redzone and on critical third down situations when Antonio Gates becomes bracket covered. Sure the Chargers have Dontrell Inman and Travis Benjamin, those guys are useful, however they don’t have a Mike Williams. Matching up Keenan Allen and Mike Williams on the outside will be a test for NFL secondaries. Another weapon will be critical for Phillip Rivers when they face the Broncos during the regular season who have 3 elite level cornerbacks. There are many question marks regarding the Chargers offense, but Mike Williams can and will be a difference maker for Rivers who needs somebody else he can rely on.

8. player. 87. GM: @skrizPO: There has been a lot of talk about Christian McCaffrey going to the Panthers, but in the end the Panthers went with McCaffrey’s college teammate Solomon Thomas. Thomas has been rumored to go all the way up to number two, but the Panthers saw him slide due to the early run on quarterbacks and took full advantage. Thomas fits exactly what the Panthers like to do, and that is stay strong on their defensive line. He was the best player available, and is a prototypical Dave Gettleman pick at number 8. The Panthers did have a trade in place with the Browns to move back to number 12, however that fell apart with Trubisky and Watson leaving the board early, and it worked out swimmingly for the Panthers who added a great addition to their team.. Solomon Thomas, DE. Stanford. Carolina Panthers
