The Denver Broncos and San Francisco 49ers will be having joint practices for the second straight year. This time, however, it will be in Santa Clara.
For the Denver Broncos, the team has hosted teams due to their new facilities. The Houston Texans and San Francisco 49ers have visited Dove Valley.
This preseason, the Denver Broncos will be traveling to the San Francisco Bay Area.
The team announced that the Broncos will travel to Santa Clara during the preseason in August to have joint practices with the San Francisco 49ers.

It will also mark the fourth straight year the Denver Broncos had joint practices with another team.
The teams will practice with each other for a few days before the two teams face off in Santa Clara, California for a preseason matchup. That matchup will happen the week of August 14th.
What will make this meeting even more interesting is that John Elway and John Lynch will be the opposing owners. Not to mention it will have two first year head coaches in Vance Joseph and Kyle Shanahan.
Joint practices are a good way for teams to practice with players other than own teammates. I know tempers can flare with teammates. But it can be even bigger when practicing with another team.
It does come with the territory. It would surprise me if there was not at least one scuffle between the Broncos and 49ers during that time. This is especially true since this will be the third year both teams have met.

The joint practices have been a common practice as of lately. They were put to the side after the 2008 season. But I honestly believe that they will benefit teams.
It will be a fun summer getting to travel to the Bay Area. Especially traveling to the same place they won their last championship.
