4. Left tackle will be added through the draft

VJ said he doesn't know who the LT would be if the season started tomorrow. They have 4-5 candidates & likely will add more in the draft.

VJ said there are a couple of LTs in the draft that they believe can start Day 1. Won't let us know who they are of course.

The Denver Broncos still need a starting left tackle.
That’s a scary statement to make at this point in the offseason, but it’s true. I suppose it can be (and has been) worse. Last year at this time, the Broncos’ starting quarterback situation was unresolved, and included Mark Sanchez along with speculation that Colin Kaepernick could be in the mix.
Now, the Broncos have two guys they like capable of starting at quarterback, but no left tackle. Russell Okung’s option was not picked up, and the Broncos opted to pass on this year’s crop of free agent left tackles in favor of the draft class, or possibly a trade.
Personally, I would prefer they just draft someone at this point, and they may not necessarily have their pick of the litter.
The tackle position isn’t highly regarded by some in this year’s class, but scouts seem to be warming up to Garett Bolles, my top offensive lineman in the class. Bolles is the most athletic tackle in the draft, and plays with the type of nastiness Vance Joseph talked about needing in the trenches.
Other players who really fit that mold are Western Kentucky’s Forrest Lamp (pictured), Alabama’s Cam Robinson, and Wisconsin’s Ryan Ramczyk, at least in the first round.
In round two, the Broncos could go for someone like Temple’s Dion Dawkins or Troy’s Antonio Garcia.
