Denver Broncos mock draft: Taking big risks
James Onwualu doesn’t have a solidified position, but like David Bruton coming out of Notre Dame in 2009, he has the potential to be an elite special teams player right away. Whether he’s a safety or a linebacker, Onwualu could be a great value for the Broncos and someone that could make the practice squad right away, or crack the roster and be a key special teamer immediately.
Coming from a small school, not many have heard of Stewart, but the 6-5, 300 pounder has the ability to play both inside and outside on a three-man defensive front, and could give the Broncos another talented, young developmental player. He is known for his quickness and great strength, and he plays with an attitude.
White is an underrated slot receiver that can also return punts and kickoffs. This is one draft class that is absolutely loaded with players that can line up in the slot, and the Broncos will definitely take advantage as that was an area of weakness last year.
White has vertical speed to occasionally burn you deep, as well, and could be an ideal player to learn from Emmanuel Sanders.
