Denver Broncos mock draft: Taking big risks
With Jake Butt picked in the third round, I really hope the Broncos look to further exploit the depth at tight end in this year’s draft and this is a great value here.
While Leggett is not known for his blocking at all, the Clemson captain had seven touchdowns in his senior season, and has phenomenal size at 6-5, nearly 260 pounds. Some question his motor, which would definitely be a contributing factor to his falling to the fourth round.
There’s no questioning this is one of the best, most athletic pass catchers at tight end in this year’s class of players. The Broncos might see someone here that can help them out right away as a rookie in that department and hopefully grow into a more complete player in terms of his blocking.
