Week 11: at Washington Redskins

Series History: Broncos lead 7-6

I am not certain that the NFL would allow this type of scheduling. But this is a prediction.

The Broncos go from the west coast to the east coast in seven days. In what will be the final NFC matchup of 2017, the team travels to the nation’s capital.

Okay, it is really Landover, MD, but they are close.

A rare matchup between the Broncos and Redskins will take place. The Broncos hold a slight edge in the series matchups.

The two teams have alternated wins since the 1998 season.

The last time these two teams met, it was close up until the final 15 minutes of the game.

In fact, the Redskins were up 21-14 going into the fourth quarter. But the Broncos outscored the Redskins 31-0 in the final quarter to turn a close game into a blowout.

This game will also be remembered for Peyton Manning’s tackle on an interception.

Both of these teams find a way to play each other close in most of the meetings. Will we see another close one?
