Haason Reddick, LB, Temple

The Denver Broncos have selected a defender with their top pick in every year but one under John Elway. The 2016 draft was the first time Elway used his top pick on an offensive player, and it was for the most important position on the field (quarterback).

We may be underestimating Elway’s desire to use his highest picks to build the defense. One of the top options in this draft, to me, is Temple linebacker Haason Reddick. Reddick has proven himself capable as a pass rusher and off-ball linebacker, and one of the most freakish athletes in this year’s draft.

He was a team captain at Temple, and one of the toughest, most physical players on the team. This is a player that would definitely look good in Orange, and could really help the Broncos replace Danny Trevathan.
