David Njoku, TE, Miami (FL)

At 20 years old, Njoku is one of the youngest players in this year’s draft. Because of that number alone, the potential and upside he has are endless.

Njoku is the best tight end in this draft at making plays after the catch. He doesn’t have the best deep speed, but he is going to be able to beat most linebackers and safeties, and nickel defensive backs that try to cover him are going to have a really tough time.

As he continues to grow into his frame, Njoku is going to be a load to handle at the next level. As a red zone target, there may be none better in this year’s class. He’s like a running back when he gets the ball in his hands, and has explosive athletic ability.

There’s no doubt in my mind, if he’s on the board at 20 overall, the Broncos would consider making this move. He will only be 25 years old after his initial first round rookie contract, and may only be 29 or 30 after his first big NFL contract.

This kid is set up for a lot of success at the next level.
