Evan Engram, TE, Ole Miss

When you think of a matchup nightmare in this year’s draft, you have to think of Ole Miss’ Evan Engram. Engram reminds me a lot of Jordan Reed, the tight end for the Washington Redskins…

His deep speed and overall size make him a nightmare to cover when he lines up in the slot, but Engram has proven he’s willing to play in line and throw some blocks as well. Some will think of him only as a big wide receiver, but that would be a disservice to his overall game.

In many ways, he is a big receiver, but he’s someone who’s going to be on the field every down in the NFL. There won’t be many linebackers or safeties that can cover him one-on-one, and in an offense with Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders, he’s going to get plenty of those kinds of opportunities.
