With the Denver Broncos acquiring a new head coach during the offseason, the team can begin OTA’s on April 3rd if Vance Joseph would like to begin then.
With the first wave of free agency over, it is time to start to focus on the draft. Not to mention that the Denver Broncos will certainly start offseason workouts soon.
According to the NFL offseason calendar, the Denver Broncos can begin Organized Team Activities on Monday April 3rd at the earliest.
Since Gary Kubiak retired and Vance Joseph took over, the Broncos are allowed to begin two weeks earlier than teams that retained their head coaches after the offseason.
The actual dates and times for the Denver Broncos OTA’s will be announced at a later date.
I have included how Organized Team Activites work here.
The biggest questions entering the OTA’s are going to be in regards to Trevor Siemian’s health and what Vance Joseph has in store.
Siemian is recovering from AC joint surgery on his shoulder. Year two is going to be big for him, if he wins the starting job.
Something else to keep an eye on during OTA’s is how the new Broncos free agent acquisitions do.
With players like Zach Kerr, Domata Peko, and Ron Leary joining the team, the OTA’s will be a great time for them to know their new teammates and gel with them.
There is no doubt that Vance Joseph will do what it takes to get his new team ready.

Organized Team Activities will also give the fans a chance to see what the players have been up to. The Broncos have not had any team practices since the end of the year.
It will be nice for the fans to start the countdown to the long awaited season opener.
